We are interested in continuities and change in administrative culture, in terms of procedures, symbols, formal and informal rules and regulations as well as personal attitudes. Statements such as this point to a perceived change of values of government officials related to the transition from monarchy to republic. In our workshop, we scrutinize administrative values, norms and practice in the interwar period. We are interested in continuities and changes in administrative culture, in terms of procedures, symbols, formal and informal rules and regulations as well as personal attitudes.
