Gabriel Godeffroy / Biography

Lívia Prosinger · May 19, 2022 ·

I am a PhD Candidate in History of International Relations at the Pantheon-Sorbonne University in Paris where I am currently writing my PhD thesis on “Mitteleuropa in Elemér Hantos’s Thought and Action (1904-1938)” under the supervision of Catherine Horel, Research Professor at the French CNRS, and Michael Gehler, Professor at the University of Hildesheim, in the framework of a French-German cotutelle de thèse, which I am planning on defending in autumn 2022. I have prepared an abstract for a paper on the “Conceptual Transition of Mitteleuropa in Elemér Hantos’s Thought, 1901-1938”, but I am open to suggestions from the organisers who have mentioned Elemér Hantos as an observer of the breakup of Austria-Hungary and its consequences in their call for papers. I will ask my Research Laboratory to help me finance my participation in the conference and I will let the organisers know as soon as possible if I need their financial assistance.
