He is editor of the series The Routledge History Handbook of Central and Eastern Europe in the Twentieth Century, and together with Jochen Böhler and Włodzimierz Borodziej the volume Legacies of Violence. Eastern Europe´s First World War (De Gruyter/ Oldenbourg, 2014).
